Mic Fairchild • colorado
"Liquid Heat Transfer" It sounded so space-age when I bought them. Together we went to many great places and racked up hundreds of days on the hill. Based in Colorado, my Swany's and I skied all over the state, across the west and even to the slopes of Europe. We were a formidable combination, and although other pieces of my wardrobe varied, my gloves were a constant. Until Monday (2 Feb 09) that is. Gearing up in the Beaver Creek parking lot I stuck my hand into my trusty Swany's and was... Read Full Story. |

I had a pair of nicely broken-in park of the Swany Flexor FX1 since probably 1996. In 2001 I took a trip out to Park City UT. I stayed at the Canyons and each day we would work our way over towards Deer Valley. My gloves were serving me well, as they aways did. Nice and warm with plenty of protection from the stray branches I may hit on my way through the powder. When we reached Deer Valley I was very impressed with the level of service, and the fact that the parking lot had its own tram. ... Read Full Story. |

Chris Boone • Oklahoma
In 2004 I moved from Oklahoma to Massachusetts after graduating from Oklahoma State University. Being an Oklahoman for all of my life, I had a difficult time adjusting to the east coast. The first two winters I was there, I wanted to do nothing but move back to Oklahoma, I hated the winters.
The third winter I was up there, I decided that I was either going to learn to do something with the winter or I was packing up and leaving. So one Saturday afternoon, I decided I was going to learn to... Read Full Story. |

I think I may have found the product of my dreams! I was at the doctor's office yesterday and the only magazine in the room was ESPN....but I noted an article titled "gifts for the athlete2008" so I read it and there they were....the Bluetooth activated gloves...the product of my dreams! You see, I take alot of grief at Cranmore because I have dropped my Blackberry and Bluetooth in the drink (toilet) as they say, 4 times now. I have been the brunt of many tasteful and tasteless jokes....you can... Read Full Story. |

Matt Zoll • Granite Peak Ski Area
I was waiting for my 7 year old in the old Tenth Mountain Lodge at Granite Peak ski area in the middle of Wisconsin. Within striking distance two guys were having a nondescript conversation about the blah ski conditions of central Wisconsin in December. My curiosity was peaked when I heard the man standing ask, "So what brings a guy like you to Wisconsin?" I tuned in like a 14 year old watching Pamela Anderson run down the beach to save a drowning child. The voice was unmistakable, old ... Read Full Story. |
