While the air was 20 degrees, the wind was blowing strongly out of the north while I was skiing at Swiss Valley Ski Resort in Jones, Michigan.
After many runs, my fingers got so cold that I barely could move them.
I realized I needed to some warmer gloves, so I skiied down to the ski shop and the saleslady there showed me my Swany gloves that had compartments built in to hold chemical hand warmers, which I bought without hesitation. I used my Swany's over the course of 2 seasons (about 140 days). I coached several programs at Park City Mountain Resort (Learn to Race and All Mountain Progression), so I spent a lot time with kids below the age of 14; which, as much as it may suck at times, is completely rewarding and exciting.
