Swany Product: Freazy Freakies (Swany Peacock mittens)
This took place about 30 years ago when I was growing up in New Jersey. I believe I was in about 2nd or 3rd grade. All of the well-to-do children in school had Freazy Freakie gloves. I thought they were the most amazing things. I told my parents about them, but they didn't understand me. Then when they finally saw them, they told me they were too expensive. I had mittens that my mother had knitted for me (not cool). That Christmas I got a pair of the Swany Freazy Freakie Peacock mittens. No one else at school had a pair like them and I was in love! I still have them, but they are a little nasty and falling apart. There is a large group of a adults that would give anything to get a pair of Freazy Freakies again... look on Facebook, there's a page that has formed for it. And, I know children would love them just like we did. Why won't Swany make them anymore???? Bring back Freaxy Freakies!! |
